The Olathe Health Education Center was the result of a strategic alliance between Johnson County Community College and the Olathe Medical Center. Located on the medical center campus this new 50,258 SF facility allows the College to house its health occupation programs with direct access to a regional hospital and allows the medical center access to educational and conference spaces for seminars and staff certification programs.

The Olathe Health Education Center has 21 classrooms, including 6 for general education, 15 for specific health occupation programs, a 13 bed simulation lab and 16 bed skills Lab.

Practical nursing
Certified nurse assistant
Certified medical aide
Rehabilitation aide
Home health aide
IV therapy for LPN
Dietary manager
Medical office
Medical billing and coding
Medical transcription
Phlebotomy
EKG technician
Medical Laboratory technician

In addition to these programs, it also provides Olathe Medical Center with an educational facility for its staff. Educational programs include; Practical Nursing, Health Occupations, Medical Tech Programs (Radiology, Surgery, Pharmacy, etc.), Health Information, Dietary and Community Outreach classes in association with the Olathe School District.
